400 S Green Street, also called Green Street Lofts, was built initially as an industrial warehouse around 1922. Then in the mid-1980’s was converted to 67 residential loft condos.

The building was one of the earliest loft conversions in the West Loop – a real neighborhood trend setter if you will.

These lofts offer all the features you’d expect in a true vintage brick and timber loft conversion plus many welcome surprises.

Second, shopping. From here it’s easy. For instance,Target, Mariano’s and Whole foods are only a few blocks away.

Third, entertainment. For example, Greektown just a few blocks east, Chicago’s famous “Restaurant Row” is just to the north as is Fulton Market District.

And finally, from transportation is super convenient. For example, you’ll have easy access to 90/94 and 290. Plus, the UIC-Halsted Blue Line train stop is just a few steps from the building entrance. Moreover, if you work at UIC, this location is hard to beat!
